Have Compassion

Today’s Empowering Tip -

How can you empower yourself today by developing compassion for others?

Today’s powerful tip written by Richard Carlson, author of the book- “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff” expresses it perfectly-

“Compassion is a sympathetic feeling. It involves the willingness to put yourself in someone else’s shoes, to take focus off yourself and to imagine what it’s like to be in someone else’s predicament, and simultaneously, to feel love for that person.

It’s the recognition that other people’s problems, their pain and frustrations, are every bit as real as your own. In recognizing this fact and trying to offer some assistance, you open your own heart and greatly enhance your feelings of gratitude.”

So today, practice developing your compassion for others by putting yourself in their shoes, be understanding and offer some assistance.
